Brian is an inspirational story about a young man with no prescribed treatment for a rare form of cancer. A Bend, Oregon, local, Brian uses cycling as his treatment. He spent sixteen years battling the disease that took a lung and his sacrum before ultimately leading to his death. The film follows Brian as he trained with a cycling coach and rode in Cycle Oregon. He was a local celeb in the cycling community of Portland - awards have been named after him. He was a humble man. Eventually on oxygen, he was able to complete the Reach the Beach ride from Portland to the beach, with the help of his friends. This inspiring film includes interviews with medical professionals, friends and his own descriptions of his path and how he was able to overcome incredible odds.
